The list of preschools includes:

The Little French School

Website: www.littlefrenchschool.org

The Little French School (LFS) is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit program that has been providing French immersion preschool education in the Eugene community for 33 years.
We combine high-quality care and education with immersion in the French language. We offer small class sizes, personalized instruction, flexible scheduling, and diverse, engaging curricula for toilet-trained children ages 3-6.

LFS is excited for on-site learning in the next academic year (2021 – 2022). We have taken additional precautions to ensure that our students, families and staff remain safe and healthy. We have not had a single positive case of COVID-19 since we reopened for in-person learning back in September of 2020.

You can take a virtual tour of our classrooms on this link.

Please contact us to start your child’s enrollment application for next year in 2021 – 2022.

DHS subsidy payments are welcome. Prior knowledge of French is not required.

Give your child the gift of language!

Big Little School
Website: thebiglittleschool.org
Facebook @biglittleschooleugene

We are a non-profit organization providing the preschool experience for children 2 years old – Kindergarten.
In Eugene, we pioneered a progressive three-year program, which begins with the two-year-old and ends with the kindergarten-ready child. Our classes are staffed with experienced teachers who plan the activities for their respective
groups. The program includes free play, which enables your child to establish friendships and
develop social skills while allowing the teachers the time to work with students on individual and
small group levels to develop pre-reading and pre-math skills. This time also affords the child
the opportunity to explore a variety of interest centers: block building, housekeeping area,
library center, tabletop and floor activities. There are also designated times for music, arts and
crafts, stories, a healthy snack, and outdoor or gym play. Our Kindergarten program adds
reading, math, science, social studies, and music/art, in addition to social-emotional development.
Our school has been in existence for over 60 years, serving Eugene families first as the Central Presbyterian Church Weekday Nursery School and since 1975 as The Big Little School.
We look forward to speaking with you regarding your child’s enrollment.
Please visit our website: thebiglittleschool.com or thebiglittleschool.org to request an enrollment form.
