Emma Angeletti, BS (she/her)

Emma joined Parenting Now in 2021. She is an alumnus of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in family and human services. Emma currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts, and is pursuing a Master’s degree in social work at Boston University. She studies reproductive rights, perinatal health and wellness, and parenting support services. Emma believes that healthy communities are built by supporting and nurturing healthy families and is dedicated to supporting the well-being of parents, children, and families. Outside of work and school, Emma is also a mother and enjoys exploring art and nature.

Claire Davis, MS (she/her)

Claire Davis has worked as a passionate advocate to support Oregon families for more than 30 years. In addition to supervising a team of Healthy Families Program Family Support Specialists at Parenting Now, she facilitates state-wide training for new Home Visitors, Supervisors and Program Managers in Oregon. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education. Claire is a Roots of Empathy Instructor for first graders in Florence, where she lives.

Michael Finlay, BS (he/him)

Michael is a parenting educator, coach, and advocate for fatherhood. He runs This is Fatherhood, LLC and This is Fatherhood Blog in addition to his work with Parenting Now and Boot Camp for New Dads. Michael is committed to building a community of fathers and parents that are fully engaged with their children and families. He is a father of an amazing son and daughter and is happily married to his high school sweetheart. Michael is excited about sharing the highs and lows of parenting with others so that he can also be the best dad for his kids.  He is also a kid trapped in an adult body and loves playing Lego, Pokemon, and with other toys with or without his kids. He received a B.S. in Social Science from Western Oregon University, 2009.

Amanda Hill, M.Ed (she/her)

Amanda is Parenting Now's Director of Training. She has a passion for working with educators, parents, and families. She also teaches child development courses within the community college and university settings. Prior to teaching at the college level, she taught typically-developing preschoolers, as well as those with special needs. Amanda has two young children. When she's not in the office, she enjoys spending time outside with her family.

Aoife Magee, PhD (she/her)

Aoife started her affiliation with Parenting Now as a parent participating in an Incredible INFANTs group in 2000. She has served as a group facilitator for the Parenting: The First Three Years and Make Parenting a Pleasure series and in other roles related to parenting education through Parenting Now for the last two decades. Today, Aoife is a trainer for Parenting Now and a Master Trainer for the Oregon Registry. Her academic background includes an MS and PhD in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Oregon. Aoife is a Faculty member in the Early Childhood Education Program at Lane Community College and an adjunct instructor for courses in Infant Toddler Mental Health and Early Childhood Intervention Programs at Portland State University. She frequently provides community based and private workshops for early childhood and parenting educators. Formerly, Aoife led the OPEC Hub called the Parenting Success Network for Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties for five years.

Megan Murphy, MS

Megan Murphy has enjoyed working with children throughout her life. She first worked in early childhood education over eight years ago as a substitute teacher and has since held multiple positions in the field, most recently being a lead Preschool/Pre-K teacher. Her experience in the classroom, as well as her undergraduate degree in Psychology, inspired her to pursue further education in Child Development and to learn how events in these early years can impact an individual. After receiving her Master of Science in Child Development at University of La Verne, she began working in the field of higher education as an Adjunct Professor.

Skyler Wiseman, PhD

Skyler joined Parenting Now in 2022. She is a Parenting Educator and professional development trainer for the Make Parenting a Pleasure program. She studied Early Childhood in Reggio Emilia, Italy and in Boston, Massachusetts. Skyler celebrated her retirement from teaching early childhood science education in St Louis, Missouri with earning her doctorate in education, moving to the PNW and becoming a grandmother!
