Whistleblower Policy

This policy applies to all employees of Parenting Now! and complies with current State of Oregon law ORS 659A.199. All employees will be informed of this policy.

Policy/Purpose:

To protect employees when bringing forth allegations of unlawful activity, policy, or practice to the attention of Parenting Now!.

1 It is the intent of Parenting Now! to adhere to all laws and regulations. If any employee believes that some policy, practice, or activity of Parenting Now! is in violation of law, employees are encouraged to bring their concern to the attention of their supervisor, the Executive Director or Managing Director or President of the Board of Directors.

2 Parenting Now! will not retaliate against an employee who in good faith, has made a protest or raised a complaint against some practice of Parenting Now!. Parenting Now! will not retaliate against an employee who in good faith, discloses or threatens to disclose to a supervisor or a public body, any activity, policy, or practice of Parenting Now! that the employee believes to be in violation of law.
