Pinwheels Planted for Prevention of Child Abuse
(Eugene, Ore., April 2014) – Parenting Now! is planting pinwheels around Eugene and Springfield in recognition of April being Child Abuse Prevention Month. The pinwheels represent happy, healthy childhoods free of abuse and neglect. The first planting was at Parenting Now! in Eugene. As of April 9, the pinwheels have been planted in several beds at the Springfield Public Library, 225 N. Fifth Ave. in downtown Springfield. They will be present during the “We Care Fair” that addresses parenting issues and abuse or neglect. The Fair occurs on Saturday, April 12.
