How did you hear about Parenting Now!?
We learned about Parenting Now! when we needed breastfeeding support for our first child when she was 4-days old and found a piece of paper the hospital had given us with Baby Connection’s information on it.
What made you decide to enroll in a Parenting Now! group?
We got such great support at Baby Connection and WellMama, and several people mentioned the Incredible INFANTs group. We decided it sounded like a fun way to meet other parents and learn more about our baby’s development.
What groups did you sign up for?
We enrolled in Incredible INFANTs group and then took the Wonderful ONEs class the next year.
What did you enjoy about the group you participated in?
Connecting with other parents with children close in age was one of the best parts of the groups. It was also a good way to get out of the house as a family. It’s easy to get a bit isolated at home when you have a new baby. Winifred also really enjoyed the playroom during the Wonderful ONEs group sessions. She doesn’t go to daycare so it was a great opportunity for her to socialize with other toddlers. She still gets excited to see the playroom when we go back to bring Marigold to Baby Connection.
What was the most rewarding part of the experience?
Besides making friends with other parents in our groups, we really appreciated the information in our Wonderful ONEs group in particular, which gave us some insights into how our child was thinking and learning. It has helped us make thoughtful parenting choices.
Would you recommend a Parenting Now! group to a friend?
We would absolutely recommend a Parenting Now! group to a friend, and we have! It’s a great opportunity for any new parent to find support as they navigate their way through life with babies and toddlers.
Parenting Now! has been a fantastic resource for our family. Everyone has been so encouraging and kind. We had no idea there was such great support for families with young children in the community and it’s really made such a difference for us.
