Based in Eugene, Oregon, Parenting Now is seeking a part-time Director of Sales and Marketing.
General Purpose of Position: To market and provide responsive service to customers and potential customers for Parenting Now’s curricula, training, products, and all associated activities.
Job Duties:
- Marketing and sales of curricula, training and products
- Customer relations, including regular outreach and communication
- Initiate and participate in development of new products and existing product improvement
- Sales follow-up, order fulfillment and customer service
- Web store development and maintenance
- Curriculum and product pricing, printing coordination, and inventory maintenance
- Sales tracking, invoicing and accounts receivable records
- Customer data maintenance
- Conference travel as needed
- Curricula training and conference logical coordination and organization
- Generation of reports as needed
- Participation in Management Team
- Other duties as assigned
Supervision Received From: Managing Director
Collaboration with: Director of Training, Public Relations Manager, and Executive Director
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Development of marketing plans
- Demonstrated success with Relationship Marketing
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurate record keeping
- Timely follow through
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer skills including CRM, Word, Excel, Access data base, and accounting software
