Based in Eugene, Oregon, Parenting Now is seeking a part-time Director of Sales and Marketing.

General Purpose of Position: To market and provide responsive service to customers and potential customers for Parenting Now’s curricula, training, products, and all associated activities. 

Job Duties: 

  • Marketing and sales of curricula, training and products
  • Customer relations, including regular outreach and communication 
  • Initiate and participate in development of new products and existing product improvement
  • Sales follow-up, order fulfillment and customer service
  • Web store development and maintenance
  • Curriculum and product pricing, printing coordination, and inventory maintenance
  • Sales tracking, invoicing and accounts receivable records 
  • Customer data maintenance
  • Conference travel as needed
  • Curricula training and conference logical coordination and organization
  • Generation of reports as needed
  • Participation in Management Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervision Received From: Managing Director

Collaboration with: Director of Training, Public Relations Manager, and Executive Director

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Development of marketing plans
  • Demonstrated success with Relationship Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Timely follow through
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Computer skills including CRM, Word, Excel, Access data base, and accounting software
