“It has been a joy volunteering at Baby Connection. I look forward to which babies will come out each week. Watching the moms come in the first time not knowing what to expect and then developing friendships with other parents has been delightful. Parenting Now is a really fun place to volunteer and the organization does a really good job making people feel valued.”

OCCU Volunteers 2018

Oregon Community Credit Union

Oregon Community Credit Union (OCCU) is a long-time supporter of Parenting Now. OCCU employees volunteer throughout the year, assisting PN in many projects ranging from putting a fresh coat of paint in the parenting education room to checking out guests at the annual auction. In the last year alone, they have contributed more than 55 volunteer hours!

"I really enjoyed getting to see how the families in the parenting groups would bond, connect and empathize with one another, and be supportive of whatever they were going through. Most of those groups were extremely tight-knit and almost like a family in of itself. I learned so much from the Parenting Educators I assisted and the parents in every single group I participated in."
